HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT: The Little Planet artist will partner with the design team to deliver fresh print and graphic ideas from concept to final production files. Little planet is a small growing team. The person in this role must be flexible and willing to contribute in different capacities in order to meet evolving business needs. This role reports into VP of Design for Little Planet and is based in our Buckhead office. 40%: Art creation: Responsible for developing 10-20 innovative and on-brand pieces of art per season including prints and graphics 25%: Manage Little Planet technical art files and artwork feedback: Responsible for setting up repeats, editing color, creating .ai art paperwork files, managing file saving and uploading onto plm and communication with teams Own management of print and art execution comments to achieve the desired result in production 20% Art research and trend presentation: Partner with design team on researching inspiration for new art ahead of each season Responsible for putting together presentations and mood boards to feature art direction for the brand 15% Print edits & upcycling: Responsible for working with purchased art (.psd & .ai making necessary edits and preparing them for production Responsible for gathering and re-working prints and graphics from our art archives to use in future seasons WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF: Must have: Bachelor’s Degree 1+ years of experience as a print artist Understanding of art, printing techniques and print repeats Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop Portfolio displaying strong sense of color, layout, and trend with the demonstrated ability to execute different art techniques and looks suitable for the LP brand Strong attention to detail Strong organizational and time management skills Innovative mind set / creative problem solving Flexibility and willingness to learn OUR TEAM MEMBERS: Lead Courageously: Have a strong sense of personal values that align with our Company values Collaborates Broadly: Build cooperation, trust, and thrive in a consensus driven environment Customer Focus: Proactively seek opportunities to leverage data and fact-based insights to serve customers and/or internal clients Drive Growth: Set aggressive goals and implement plans precisely Cultivates Innovation: Respectfully challenge the "we’ve always done it this way" mentality and explore new ways to achieve desired outcomes MAKE A CAREER AT CARTER’S: Career Development: Success starts from within, and we have several paths from which you can choose to enhance your career evolution.
