Rivanna Medical, Inc. seeks a Technical Content Specialist to create, edit, and manage performance and brand marketing content across various digital platforms. This role is essential for planning, developing, and implementing effective content within the marketing team. Collaboration with cross-functional teams—including engineering, product management, sales, and marketing—is crucial to ensure content is engaging, technically accurate, and aligned with business objectives. The specialist must have a strong understanding of the buyer's journey and how to tailor messaging to the distinct needs of each segment within the adoption curve. Additionally, this position will play a key role in producing marketing assets for product launches, significantly contributing to brand awareness and lead generation efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate versatility in writing, editing, video scripting/direction, and collaboration to deliver compelling content suitable for our academic and clinical audience.



Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, technical writing, marketing, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in technical content creation, writing, or editing, preferably in the healthcare or technology sectors.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an emphasis on clarity, technical accuracy, and audience engagement.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and familiarity with SEO best practices.
  • Experience with social media management and email marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, or web development (preferred but not required).
  • Basic understanding of or experience in the medical field (preferred but not required).
Requirements:
  • Research, outline, write, and edit engaging and accurate short- and extensive / long-form content for digital platforms, including websites, social media, blogs, video, and email campaigns.
  • Effectively cut extensively long-form technical content to repurpose a variety of short-form content for email, social media, and paid media.
  • Translate complex medical and technical concepts and product features into clear, concise, and compelling narratives for target audiences.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent voice.
  • Partner with product, marketing, and design teams to produce high-impact content for performance and brand marketing campaigns and product launches.
  • Collaborate in developing content strategies that align with the overall marketing roadmap.
  • Support internal teams by creating content for sales enablement materials, FAQs, and technical guides.
  • Manage the entire content lifecycle, from planning and drafting to publishing and updating across all digital platforms.
  • Develop promotional materials in various formats, including newsletters, case studies, and whitepapers.
  • Foster audience engagement by managing feedback, comments, and Q&A sessions across multiple platforms.
  • Leverage insights from audience interactions to refine content strategies and address audience needs.
  • Review and update content regularly to ensure accuracy and relevance to industry trends, company developments, and product updates.
  • Monitor digital properties to maintain consistent accuracy in technical details and ensure ease of understanding.
  • Research and stay current on industry trends, emerging medical technologies, and best practices in technical writing, content marketing, and healthcare technology.
  • Apply industry knowledge to enhance content creation strategies, including exploring opportunities for webinars and podcasting.
