What will you do? Lead and execute Circuit Breaker MCCB/ACB projects. Lead the Engineering project teams for the development of new Offers or the evolution of existing Offers. Manage a dedicated Electromechanics/Electrotechnology technical team, produce technical specifications, guarantee performance and robustness, and contribute to cost targets. Manage the team regarding workload, project engineering expenses, and planning in collaboration with resource managers and scrum master. Provide business support at the SQUAD level for technical decisions, technical risk management, and design feasibility. Support Global Supply Chain Manufacturing Plants in North America during the execution and implementation of engineering projects. Validate bills of materials and CAD drawings of parts and sub-assemblies in accordance with technical specifications, customer expectations, and supply chain constraints. Execute assigned product design changes, drawings, and BOMs according to technical specifications using dedicated tools. Conduct engineering analysis activities, including Thermal, Electromagnetic, Dynamical, and Structural analyses to ensure adequate performance, quality, and reliability of the product. Create and execute verification & validation plans in SE laboratories and analyze results. Design offers from technical specifications to meet customer values expectations and quality goals. Interpret test results and synthesize data into technical reports. Lead the creation and update of Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis (xFMEAs) documents. Provide mentoring, coaching, and assistance to other senior engineers or functions. Contribute actively to knowledge and know-how development and sharing. What qualifications will make you successful? BS or equivalent expertise in electromechanical design in electrical distribution products; Master's in science is a plus. 10+ years of relevant experience in electromechanical mass production industries. AGILE Methodology knowledge and experience - SCRUM. Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and 3D CAD Modeling experience. Experience in electrical product testing and evaluation methods (UL/CSA/NOM/IEC/CCC/ANSI). Knowledge of CAE (Ex, Structural, Thermal, Kinematics, etc.) is a plus. Strong understanding of engineering principles and methodologies. Knowledge of metal stamping, thermoset and thermoplastic molding processes. Design for Manufacturability and Design for Assembly techniques. Deep knowledge of circuit breaker products, theory, and application. Travel required ~20% - Travel in NAM and International.
