The Apple Human Interface Design team conceptualizes, designs, and creates the user experience for all Apple products and services. Our ideal designer has a delightful graphic, product, and design sensibility combined with an exceptional eye for design detail. They’re enthusiastic about collaborating with a dynamic team of talented folks to bring new products to life. Description * Be a strong, collaborative partner with product designers, engineers, leadership, and partner teams to contribute to the design vision.* Create and maintain multi-platform design systems and component libraries that embody and extend the design vision.* Ensure designs align with platform patterns and inclusion standards.* Work closely with engineering partners to bring designs to life by crafting detailed deliverables, including technical specifications and assets.* Update component libraries as designs evolve and communicate changes to relevant teams. Minimum Qualifications Proficiency in design software including Sketch or Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator Proficiency in the use of typography, colors, materials, textures, layout, and information hierarchy Experience with platform-specific user interface principles for phone, computer, or smart watches Preferred Qualifications Portfolio demonstrating design systems thinking to solve product problems Working understanding of inclusive design principles for meeting the needs of a diverse, global audience Apple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
