We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer to join our team to provide a 5-star client experience in design and sales through client education, accurate measure/design and follow through. In this role, you will be responsible for designing functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen spaces that meet the needs of our clients. You will work closely with customers to understand their vision, provide expert advice, and create designs that enhance their homes. Your ability to build relationships and manage accounts will be key to your success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Designs extraordinary kitchens for their customers.
- Provide in-home consultations to measure, discuss customers’ wishes and offer professional opinions while developing rapport.
- Provide 100% accurate designs and proposals and follow up within a timely manner to learn about and overcome purchasing hesitations.
- Ensures that Cabinet IQ products and services are accurately represented.
- Understand client design requests and work with them to set an initial budget.
- Follow up on inbound leads within 2 business days of “New Lead” and qualify them.
- Accountable for reviewing customer account status and maintains all contacts, including address, phone, email, and all notes using CRM.
- After invoices are paid, order cabinets and countertops and provide operations with the documentation.
- Pursues new business.
Requirements
- Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 8 years of previous design and sales experience selling mid to high end kitchens.
- Experience with Design 2020 software.
- Strong computer skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer’s location.
- CRM experience a plus, but not required.
