About the Position:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technician/Civil Designer to join our growing team in Austin. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a strong technical background in civil drafting and design to contribute to impactful projects and grow their career in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to create detailed construction plans, profiles, and cross-sections for various land development projects.
  • Prepare site layouts, grading plans, drainage systems, utility plans, and other civil engineering drawings under the guidance of project engineers.
  • Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including specifications and cost estimates.
  • Ensure drawings adhere to company standards, client requirements, and local regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with engineers, project managers, and other team members.
  • Maintain organized project files and drawings.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency and quality of the design process.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential.
  • Experience in land development design is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering concepts and terminology.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
