This includes conceptualization, development, and delivery of innovative, on-trend creative solutions for brand identity, packaging design, point-of-sale, digital, social, ecommerce, collateral, photo/video and supporting creative touchpoints along the consumer journey. Manages a high-volume of fast-paced projects while enabling the strategic vision and direction set by the Creative leadership team. Core accountabilities of this position: Creative Design: Development of engaging design solutions in support of multi-faceted creative assignments. Team Collaboration: Cooperate with cross-functional team members to drive projects to successful completion. Project Accountability: Demonstrated commitment to departmental processes, practices, project timelines, and budgets. Essential Functions: Creative Design Collaborates with creative colleagues to execute complex and/or large, multi-faceted design projects, ensuring timely completion within set parameters. Conceives and delivers compelling business and brand solutions that meet high standards of creative integrity. Leverages client briefs to inform solutions that are strategically sound and adheres to brand identities and style guides. Demonstrates an understanding of brand identity standards and the shopper journey across in-store, online, and social platforms, tailoring creative deliverables to engage consumers effectively at each touchpoint. Contributes to the advancement of the design competency within the Creative workgroup: Crafts compelling visuals and persuasive copy that drives brand engagement, Generates innovative creative concepts and sketches in support of assigned projects, Offers feedback and shares ideas with other designers and creative team members Consistently delivers high-quality output with meticulous attention to detail—on time, on budget, and on strategy. Ensures consistency by accurately applying brand identity and style guidelines across all design elements and presentations. Manages the preparation and quality assurance of design presentations, including renderings and PowerPoint slides; organizes and archives design files for easy retrieval. Keeps pace with cutting-edge design practices, industry trends, emerging media, and new technologies, applying modern design principles related to color theory, identity design, packaging, photography, typography, layout composition, and 3D structural solutions. Continuously builds awareness and know-how around emerging digital and social creative properties. Stays current with printing technologies and methods, enhancing the quality of POS and package components. Team Collaboration Supports Creative Director to form a unified, efficient cross-functional team, working cooperatively with others to drive projects to completion within established timelines and budgets. Supports the Creative team's vision, working with department colleagues to not only meet but to exceed customary standards when it comes to design quality and creative output. Maintains positive, collaborative, consultative relationships with marketing stakeholders and Gallo Creative colleagues to ensure positive, mutually beneficial project outcomes. Contributes to the development and delivery of clear, professional and persuasive client presentations, supported by strategic insights and business rationale. Fosters a collaborative, mutually supportive creative environment; invites team members to build on their ideas and work collectively to find breakthrough solutions. Offers creative support to enhance team capabilities by participating in brainstorming sessions and executing creative ideas and territories. Contributes to a positive, progressive, unified workplace culture across Gallo Creative. Project Accountability Champions continuous improvement and advocates for design best practices, ensuring work adheres to brand principles and Gallo Creative’s high-quality standards. Organizes, manages, prioritizes, and is accountable for project tasks from initiation and creative execution through production and delivery/go live across a high-volume of fastpaced projects. Contributes to a rigorous and efficient creative development process—proactively communicate with team members, surface issues as they arise, and participate in solutions that enable projects to stay on track. Demonstrates compliance with workflow processes and accountability for interim project milestones. Skillfully designs creative elements, ensuring files are prepared for production in a clear, organized manner. Manages personal workload including accurate time tracking and prompt completion of project documentation to meet deadlines and maintain productivity. Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness. Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations. If accountable for the work of others, responsible for ensuring their understanding and compliance. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, fine arts, advertising, communications, and/or journalism plus 4 years of experience in graphic design, copywriting, art direction and/or campaign development; OR Bachelor's degree plus graphic design, fine arts, communication, advertising, journalism plus 3 years of Gallo creative experience; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 8 years of experience in graphic design, copywriting, art direction and/or campaign development. Original portfolio that contains a collection of commercial work across a variety of industries/client organizations and demonstrates a range of output, skills, and creative experience. . Ability to interface effectively with clients and Client Partnership colleagues to arrive at sound creative solutions that meet business objectives. Expertise developing and refining designs from conception through execution; skilled in design composition, typography and executing sketches or designs. Understanding of messaging, design, and production principles across all forms of media; knowledge of printing and digital production technologies and methodologies. Experience working as part of a multi-functional marketing communications team to develop design output. Strong communication and presentation skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and followthrough. Ability to succeed under pressure, managing multiple concurrent projects while shifting priorities and responding to changing business conditions and corresponding needs. Strong interpersonal skills, conflict-resolution, and relationship-building skills. Experience with Microsoft 365 productivity apps including Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.), Keynote, and cloudbased project management systems/platforms, e.g. Workfront, Basecamp, etc. Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, fine arts, advertising, communications, and/or journalism plus 6 years of experience in graphic design, copywriting, art direction and/or campaign development reflecting increasing levels or responsibility. External agency developing design solutions on behalf of assorted clients and/or global brands. Skilled in designing retail structures, point of sale, web and digital engagements, social media content for consumer target audiences. Shopper, omni-commerce creative design and/or brand identity, package design, brand visual language. Design experience in spirits, beer, beverage or lifestyle industries. Compensation Hiring Salary Range: $89,100 - $133,700/Year Actual compensation amount paid may be lower or higher to be determined by factors other than race and gender such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
