Architectural Designer

STITCH Design Shop is seeking a self-starter, who feels passionate about the opportunity to be part of our team with a focus on Commercial Architecture. The ideal candidate will have strong visualization and design skills along with the ability to execute, including a variety of basic architectural assignments requiring the application of standard architectural techniques for small projects or select segments of a larger project. 

Essential Duties: 

• Performs a variety of basic architectural assignments requiring the application of standard architectural techniques for small projects or selected segments of a larger project. 
• Performs design layouts and features which require researching, compiling, and recording information for the project work. 
• Other related duties as assigned by Partners(s) or department head.  

Non-Essential Duties: 

• Attend organization and community events on behalf of STITCH, as requested.   

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
• Basic knowledge of the construction process and construction administration
• Strong knowledge of construction document production, and detailing.
• Strong graphic, written, and oral communication skills. Ability to present ideas and strategies quickly, thoughtfully, and concisely.
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office. 
• Hold a valid driver’s license
