Purpose: This position supports communication and marketing efforts using various design and publication platforms to educate, inform, and promote the work of Lincoln University College of Agriculture, Human and Environmental Sciences. This is a full time, 12-month, non-tenure track, full benefit-eligible position. Essential Job Functions: Create visual content for fact sheets, guide sheets, flyers, social media posts, articles, newsletters, etc. Creates invitations, agendas, event programs, and other assets. Assists with website and social media as needed. Provide event photography support as needed. Supports special assigned projects and events as needed. Comply with all federal, state, and university reporting requirements. Perform other duties as assigned by the Dean. Technical and Communication Skills: Strong attention to detail. Ability to work with minimal supervision; must be a self-starter. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, Adobe Suite, and relevant design programs. Proficiency with DSLR camera and basic editing software with ability to maintain equipment and upload images to cloud and group sharing platforms. Strong knowledge using office equipment such as printer, scanner, and telephone. Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in English, Agriculture, Communications, or related field required. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. The position involves occasional travel and evening or weekend work.
