Our client, a Series A consumer fintech company, is hiring for a Sr. Product Designer for their growing team. The company has incredible leadership from some of the most successful and fast growing startups in tech, and is looking for a Sr. Product Designer to deliver a world class design system for their mission driven fintech product. This person will be responsible for creating experiences that combine user needs and commercial business outcomes. You'll work across the entire customer journey, working with potential and returning customers to understand their needs and motivations when using the product to incorporate into the design. This role will work closely with cross functional teams, and will be an individual contributor role.
- Responsibilities:Overseeing complex systems, understanding user behavior and commercial goals to create insightful, compelling, effective consumer experiences.
- Build and execute designs through sketches, prototypes, and testing, establishing the information architecture and flow for your product features, create high-fidelity visuals and specifications for your final solutions, and work with team members to ensure quality implementation and UX
- Help build and maintain our design system and advocate for design solutions that scale designs from discovery through delivery, leveraging the right tools at the right moments to make the most significant impact.
- Help build and shape the design culture, processes, and use of tools.
- RequirementsExperience within high growth fintech company
- Experience within high growth startup environment
- 4-6 years experience as an IC product designer
- Minimum 6+ years of professional work experience in an individual contributor role as a product designer.
- A top tier portfolio, showing a depth of knowledge in user experience, interaction, and visual/user interface design for consumer products.
- Experienced at leading design projects from initial discovery through delivery and execution of high-quality experiences.
- Understands the end-to-end process required to deliver great design.
- Experienced in driving research and using qualitative and quantitative data.
- Can work cross functionally product managers, engineers, and other team members.
- Systems thinker who connects the different aspects of the customer experience and creates cohesiveness throughout the product.
- B.A/B.S. in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field/equivalent experience.
