What You'll Do We are currently seeking a Designer who will own off-court lifestyle sportswear across categories for the Women’s Design team. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Responsible for the design and development of Off-Court Women’s Sportswear across categories (tops, jackets, sweaters, dresses and bottoms). Ability to pull conceptual imagery, product research, and design inspiration each season that supports the creative vision and maintains brand filters Responsible for creating and maintaining all sketches, detail pages, BOMs, and tech packs Responsible for maintaining VLPs (Visual Line Plan) and capturing changes throughout entire development lifecycle Cross functional collaboration, such as leading design intent for fittings, reviewing color and strike-offs, communicating fabric and trim approvals, managing pass-off to tech partners Responsible for managing and hitting all deadlines Ability to work closely with other team members to help manage overall workload for the department, must be a team player Organization, great with time management and attention to detail Able to function in a fast-paced work environment that is growing and evolving rapidly Compensation: 75K-100K + 10% bonus opportunity What We're Looking For A fashion design degree from an accredited academic institution 5+ years of design experience Strong knowledge of apparel design and garment construction Must have excellent communication and organizational skills Proficient on Mac platform Must be able to work proficiently in Adobe Illustrator Photoshop and InDesign are a plus Knowledge of Centrix PLM is a plus Experience with fabric and wash development - fabric drape and technical properties Experience with graphic techniques is a plus Strong self-leader but can also take direction Presentation skills; ability to speak confidently and respond to feedback in a collaborative way Excellent sketching abilities, able to communicate ideas visually Must have examples of work and portfolio to be considered What We’ll Provide Los Angeles, like Wilson Sportswear, is at the intersection of sport, fashion, and culture.
