Job Overview:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Product Designer to collaborate with our cross-functional team in designing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for our digital products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for user-centered design and a strong portfolio showcasing their expertise in creating engaging and user-friendly interfaces across web and mobile platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
UI/UX Design: Create high-quality, user-centric interface designs and experiences for web and mobile applications, ensuring consistency and usability across all platforms.
Wireframing and Prototyping: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups to visualize design concepts and user interactions.
Visual Design: Design visually stunning interfaces that enhance the overall user experience while adhering to brand guidelines and design principles.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and UX designers, to translate user needs and business requirements into compelling design solutions.
User Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions, iterating based on feedback and data-driven insights.
Design Processes: Develop comprehensive personas, user journeys, and experience maps to guide design processes.
Design Systems: Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides to ensure consistency and scalability across products and platforms.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Product Design or related field; Master's degree preferred.
8+ years of experience in UI design roles, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital design projects.
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and usability best practices.
Experience with responsive design and designing for multiple screen sizes and devices.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and articulate design concepts effectively.
Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
Experience designing for data, insights and content exploration strongly preferred.
Compensation and Benefits Salary and stock options are negotiated based on experience.

Hybrid work environment, with 3 days per week required in office in Washington, D.C or New York.
The salary range for this position is $175,000 to $225,000, depending on the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications. In addition to cash compensation, this role is eligible for a stock option grant. Further, we offer comprehensive benefits, including flexible PTO, health, dental and vision plans, and generous company holidays.
