The centralized on-air graphics team for NBCUniversal Local, The Arthouse, is seeking a Designer with a television design background. This person should have design and leadership skills, and be able to work on individual daily assignments as well as long-term team projects. The Arthouse supports NBC Universal Local NBC and Telemundo stations across the country, along with Regional Sports Network, NBC Cable Channels and Streaming platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively identifying and solving design challenges to enhance project outcomes
- Work with the entire team to maintain established design standards and brands
- Provide positive customer support
- Receptive of art direction and feedback from leadership
- At least 4 years’ of experience with Adobe Photoshop and After Effects
- Must provide still and motion examples of work
- Flexibility in schedules and assignments for this 24/7-365 industry
- Must be able to work nights and weekends
- Must accept Solutions as NBCUniversal’s Alternative Dispute Resolution program
- Willing and able to work in Fort Worth, Texas (just south of DFW Airport)
- Must be 18 years or greater
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
Desired Characteristics:
- Bilingual in Spanish/English
- Strong communication skills and a dedicated, customer-focused approach to servicing a large, deadline-driven client base
- A self-starter with the ability to multiptastk, and works well in a collaborative, team environment
- Demonstrate solid creative skills and the ability to take art direction
- Map software knowledge, Google Maps/ Ross XPression
- Production experience with a company and/or news station is a plus
- Experience with Cinema 4D
Additional Requirements:
- Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
