Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly creative and talented Motion Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. This is a contract-to-hire position, beginning with a 3-month contract, with the potential for full-time employment based on performance and business needs. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects is required, with familiarity in 3D animation software considered a plus.
- Work Experience: A minimum of 2 years of full-time experience in motion graphic design, animation, or a related field is required. This experience should include a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating motion graphics for various media platforms.
- Creative Vision: Ability to conceptualize and execute innovative motion graphics that align with client goals and the company's creative direction.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of motion graphics trends, platforms, and emerging technologies in the media industry.
- Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams including editors, producers, PR Specialists, and clients to deliver cohesive visual solutions.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt designs to various media platforms and embrace new tools and technologies.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate design concepts and collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Motion Graphics Creation: Design and animate visual elements that bring content to life across various platforms including digital, social, and broadcast media.
- Visual Concept Development: Collaborate with the creative director to develop original motion graphics concepts that meet specific project goals.
- Scene Visualization and Cohesion: Develop motion sequences that ensure visual continuity and flow, incorporating feedback and script elements.
- Storyboarding: Develop detailed storyboards to outline the visual sequence of projects, ensuring a cohesive narrative flow and alignment with the creative vision.
- Multi-platform Design: Create graphics and animations suitable for various formats, ensuring consistency across different media platforms.
- Transition Design: Design and animate smooth transitions between scenes or elements to enhance viewer experience.
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients and team leaders to understand project vision and ensure that final outputs align with expectations.
- Frame Annotation: Annotate motion graphic sequences with relevant details such as timing, transitions, and motion descriptions.
- Revision Implementation: Make necessary changes to designs based on feedback, ensuring the final product meets client standards.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay current with evolving motion graphics trends and technologies to keep our creative output fresh and innovative.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure that all motion graphics are consistent with brand guidelines and visual identity.
- Time Management: Effectively manage time and resources across multiple projects, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
