Compensation: $17.50 - $25.50 hourly Responsibilities: Document Review and Quality Control: Conduct thorough reviews of drafted estate planning documents to ensure accuracy, compliance with legal standards, and adherence to firm guidelines. Higher-Level Drafting: Create and refine complex clauses and provisions that require advanced knowledge and attention to detail, enhancing the overall quality of the estate plan. Formatting and Consistency: Ensure documents are properly formatted, professional in appearance, and consistent in tone, structure, and style. Collaboration: Work closely with drafters to address any gaps or errors in initial drafts and provide guidance on improvements. Approval Process: Finalize estate planning documents for attorney review and client signing, certifying that they are error-free and ready for execution. Problem-Solving: Assist in resolving challenging drafting scenarios or legal questions, applying creative and legally sound solutions. Client-Focused Support: Contribute to the firm’s mission of delivering exceptional client service by ensuring all documents meet the highest standards of quality and precision. Qualifications: Estate Planning Expertise: Strong understanding of estate planning principles, including trust provisions, tax implications, and asset protection strategies. Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors in grammar, formatting, and legal language while ensuring accuracy and consistency across documents. Advanced Drafting Skills: Ability to create and revise complex provisions tailored to unique client situations. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and estate planning software (e.g., HotDocs, WealthCounsel, or similar platforms). Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
