Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bilingual Video Editor to join our team at ReelShort. This role focuses on post-production editing, creating polished final videos for the ReelShort app, and ensuring high-quality output by reviewing and providing feedback on content produced by third-party studios. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and capable of collaborating effectively with global teams to deliver top-tier content for our platform.

Requirements

• Perform post-production editing of videos for the ReelShort app, ensuring they are polished and ready for release.
• Review and provide detailed feedback on rough-cut videos submitted by third-party studios, ensuring high quality and alignment with project goals.
• Work closely with the marketing team to enhance video content based on performance insights and analytics.
• Maintain consistency and quality across all video projects in accordance with brand guidelines.
• Ensure effective and timely communication with global teams across different time zones.
• Operate primarily from our Sunnyvale, CA office, working on-site 4 days a week.

Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of experience in post-production editing or a related field.
• Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects (DaVinci Resolve experience is a plus).
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment, meeting deadlines while ensuring top-quality results.
• Highly detail-oriented with a focus on delivering flawless final edits.
• Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin, Spanish, or Japanese (verbal and written) is required.
• Familiarity with social media platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
• Experience in selecting and pairing music effectively with visual content.
• Previous startup experience is a plus.
