Job Summary: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Event Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of events, from initial concept to execution, ensuring that each event is meticulously planned and executed to meet our clients' expectations. The Event Planner will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver memorable and successful events.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives, budget, and preferences.
- Develop event concepts and themes that align with clients' goals and brand identity.
- Research and recommend suitable event venues, vendors, and suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts and secure necessary permits and licenses for events.
- Create detailed event plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate logistics, including transportation, accommodations, catering, and audiovisual equipment.
- Oversee event setup, ensuring that all elements are in place and executed according to plan.
- Manage on-site event operations, troubleshoot any issues that arise, and ensure a smooth event flow.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and address any concerns.
- Evaluate event success and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Event Planning, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience in event planning or coordination, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in event planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
- Certification in event planning (e.g., Certified Meeting Professional) is a plus.
