Job purpose
Our company is driven to help others succeed in reaching their financial goals, and we're seeking a new marketing director to help us in that mission. The Creative Director will bring a mix of marketing expertise, business acumen, and creativity to the role. We're looking for an experienced manager of creative people, someone who can inspire others while taking our creative output to a new level as we continue to grow. The ideal candidate will have a natural eye for design and be a prolific generator of dynamic ideas that connect with our audiences.
Note: This role is 5 days in-office at our corporate office in Scottsdale.
Duties and responsibilities
- Comprehensive Creative oversight including copy, design, video production, graphic design, TV and Radio creative, and more. This includes attending all meetings and working with channel owners to strategize. Creating outline business objectives, identify projects, and create plausible creative solutions and plans to then be carried out by the appropriate team.
- Strong negotiation skills for budgeting, strategy plans, external and internal projects, campaigns and events.
- Review, proof, and approve art and copy developed by the team, ensuring that deliverables address marketing goals and challenges effectively while ensuring quality and brand consistency.
- Creative project management for all marketing initiatives.
- Mentoring & guiding the marketing staff throughout the entire creative process from scripting, editing, compliance and final approval.
- Outstanding ability to work on products such as radio, television, digital performance and marketing, OTT, email blasts, landing pages, banner ads, Facebook and YouTube static and audio and videos ads, event marketing, direct mail and more.
- Creating, maintaining, and promoting brand and design consistency across all projects
- Translating user and/or business goals into user-friendly and creative web experiences
- Communicating design strategy, rationale, and brand consistency to key stakeholders
- Implementing visual designs in internal tools using HTML and CSS
- Help define, establish and follow brand standards
- Produce fresh, innovative work that translates complex ideas into compelling ad experiences.
- Conduct brainstorming sessions for different goals and aims set for marketing and operations.
- Provide status updates, receiving approvals through the creation process, and handing off project deliverables on time.
- Work with the CMO to ensure assets are created and provided to the needed channels within the allotted timeframes, budgets and ROI.
- Oversee and help in the day-to-day oversight of all marketing projects and staff.

Qualifications
Required:
- Ten years of relevant experience in creating marketing/advertising campaigns - from developing, negotiating and implementing the vision and messaging platform to overseeing team production on time and within budget
- Exceptional multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and team members in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent leadership and team motivation skills.
- Experience in creating integrated content across all marketing channels: TV, radio, digital, social media, paid media, mobile, offline, and print
- Outstanding ability to multitask and handle and manage multiple projects and team members at once
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to develop successful concepts
- Outstanding organizational skills and self-motivation
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong creative vision, with an eye on business objectives
- Comfortable working directly with Company leadership
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in marketing or business
- Experience in media is a plus
- Salesforce and Pardot experience a plus
- Experience in project management, with a focus on creative direction
- Experience working in the financial field.
