Job Description
Event management is essential to Signals' marketing strategy to grow our brand in the Demand Generation marketplace. We are looking for an experienced Event Marketing Coordinator who will be responsible for planning and executing our events and promoting Signals' platform.
As the Event Marketing Coordinator, your main responsibility will be to oversee the entire process of virtual events, from generating ideas to analyzing the event afterward. You will work with teams from different departments to develop effective event strategies that will help us generate demand. This will involve recruiting speakers, getting them ready for the event, creating event pages, promoting the events, and managing all aspects of the events. We seek a creative and results-oriented event marketer with experience in virtual event management.
This role will provide excellent digital and in-person experiences for our user and prospect audiences across all customer segments.
Location: This is an in-office role, but all events will be held virtually.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute innovative event marketing strategies that directly contribute to lead generation, audience engagement, and increased brand visibility, ensuring every event delivers measurable results
- Align event objectives with company-wide goals, targeting key audiences to maximize event impact and generate high-quality leads contributing to pipeline growth.
- Identify and capitalize on event opportunities, including securing strategic sponsorships, defining clear goals, assembling project teams, managing vendors, and sourcing top-tier speakers and audiences to ensure successful event execution.
- Collaborate closely with Demand Generation, Design, and Product Marketing to create exceptional, high-impact events that elevate the brand and support integrated marketing campaigns.
- Partner with Sales teams to expand the reach of events, drive new business opportunities, nurture existing leads, and accelerate the sales pipeline through effective event experiences.
- Generate fresh, creative event ideas, concepts, and formats that enhance audience engagement and brand consistency across all touchpoints, continually raising the bar on event quality.
- Document and streamline event processes to build a scalable, efficient event program that can be expanded and optimized for future growth.
- Maintain proactive client communication, addressing questions and concerns promptly to ensure smooth event execution and positive attendee experiences.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in event planning and virtual experiences, applying new insights to innovate and improve future events continually.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- 2+ years of experience in digital/virtual event management.
- Strong understanding of the tech conference landscape and the role of events in demand generation.
- Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience partnering with Sales teams to maximize event-driven lead generation.
