Summary
We are looking for a Senior Event Technology Specialist. The ideal candidate for the role is curious, analytical and organized. Because they juggle numerous technical projects at a time, the ability to multi-task in a deadline driven environment is crucial. They should also have effective communication skills and be fueled by problem-solving.
The Senior Event Technology Specialist pairs the right digital solution (mobile app, website platform, etc.) to each client's need and then works alongside the account team to deliver that solution through planning and build. Relied upon as a subject matter expert, the Senior Event Technology Specialist will also spend their time investigating various platforms and technology to identify capabilities.
You’ll spend your days on the following:
- Build and Manage Event Websites: Develop attendee management websites and process reports, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the platform to advise and educate clients.
- Client Support and Guidance: Support clients in utilizing event technology tools as per agreements, providing guidance on design and functionality to meet client specifications and objectives.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client knowledge by attending weekly conference calls, proactively addressing potential issues, and involving clients where appropriate.
- Team Collaboration: Provide guidance/recommendations to team members and attends staff and team meetings.
- Digital Solutions Knowledge: Investigate digital solutions for capabilities, user experience, and cost, and research various web platforms and mobile apps as needed.
- Creative Conceptualization: Conceptualize creative and executable ideas, incorporating functionalities for a smooth user experience.
- Platform Development and Testing: Build and test platforms to ensure they meet all specifications, solve coding and user experience issues, and launch platforms while addressing user issues quickly.
- Brand Representation: Energetically represent Augeo Experience’s brand in the community, industry, and amongst prospective and current clients, as well as internally.
What you need to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 4 -5 years of applicable experience. Proficient in front-end web development, mainly within a CMS environment.
- Front end languages such as HTML and CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript a large plus. Up-to-date experience with web protocols and responsive build.
- Event Technology Platform experience (preferred) including Cvent, Swoogo and similar platforms
- Experience building on WordPress utilizing builders such as Elementor
- Analytical thinker with creative problem-solving
- Multi-tasker with ability to prioritize and time manage
- Organized and attention to detail
- Self-starter and resourceful
- Able to take direction from and work with many different personalities
- Proactive communication skills
- Professional/high-level of customer service
- Desire to learn and continue to advance using new technologies
