At Optimize Digital Marketing we attribute much of our success to the strength of our marketing division. To build on this momentum, we’re searching for a highly qualified marketing coordinator. From day one, this individual will contribute to existing marketing programs, while assisting with the development of new initiatives aligned with company and client goals. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a wide range of marketing functions, including communications, advertising, branding, digital marketing, and social media. The marketing coordinator must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities for Marketing Coordinator
· Assist in the development and implementation of the company’s brand strategy

· Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation

· Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring program success

· Provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends

· Support the marketing department's initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as email, event, social media, or content marketing

· Independently coordinate marketing and community events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, and ordering marketing collateral

· Coordinate product, event, or content email marketing campaigns, including copy, scheduling, testing

· Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice

· Assist with developing and managing content and social media marketing programs/platforms, including blogs and public relations efforts

· Evaluate and monitor campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports

· Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs, and to ensure competitiveness

· Plan, manage, and execute content alongside the creative team.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

· Conduct research to analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape, and prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data

· Evaluate and establish the marketing plan and strategy by assembling and analyzing setting objectives, planning and organizing promotional presentations, and updating calendars

· Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to sales team, and provide instructions for use or promotion

· Plan and manage meetings, events, conferences, and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating mailing lists

· Maintain a directory and inventory of sales support materials, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials as needed

· Continually seek and research new sources of prospective customer data, and provide recommendations to sales and other department leadership

Qualifications for Marketing Coordinator
· Preferred bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field

· 5+ years of experience in marketing

· Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills

· Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing

· Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

· Must have strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports.

· Must have some knowledge of SEO strategies.

· Working knowledge of HTML, design, and email software

· Must have a high level of creativity

· Experience with research using data analytics software

· Experience working with budgets and forecasting

· Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $65,000, based on experience
