U-Haul’s in-house ad agency, A&M Associates, is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Architectural Illustrator to join our team. In this role, you will create and design architectural illustrations for U-Haul storage and moving centers across North America. You will work closely with project teams to visualize architectural elements, materials, textures, lighting, and the overall atmosphere of our projects, bringing them to life in a compelling and accurate way.As part of the A&M Associates and U-Haul teams, you will help develop and refine marketing strategies for U-Haul products and services, integrating architectural design methods into presentations and promotional materials. Your work will play a key role in city planning presentations, design reviews, and project development.Key Responsibilities:

Create visually compelling and realistic representations of architectural designs, accurately depicting materials, textures, and lighting.

Collaborate with design teams to convey design concepts, key features, and aesthetic qualities through detailed illustrations and renderings.

Incorporate feedback and revisions to ensure illustrations align with the project’s intended vision and goals.

Assist with the schematic design process, developing initial presentations and modifying designs for city planning departments and U-Haul stakeholders.

Coordinate with team members to order signage, graphics, and other project elements.

Prepare presentations for design committees, team reviews, and marketing discussions.

Research current design trends and explore new materials and visualization methods to keep our designs innovative and relevant.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Design, or a related field.

2-3 years of experience in architectural illustration or design.

Proficiency in architectural software such as Revit and AutoCAD.

Skilled in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, 3DS Max, and V-Ray.

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain design concepts clearly and professionally.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to project feedback and revisions.

Your ability to create realistic and visually engaging architectural illustrations will be crucial in helping U-Haul communicate design concepts and bring projects to life.
