Job Description
Responsibilities
- Supervises, guides, and mentors Library Team Members
- Responsible for submission of all deliverables, including plans, reports and trainings
- Interfaces with Contracting Officer Representative (COR)
- Establishes and updates all polices and procedures for the library as necessary
- Delivers group and one-on-one training
- Overseas marketing planning and outreach events
- Responsible for oversight and implementation of library collection development
- Assists with reference and access services duties as needed
- Serves as subject matter expert for the new Publication Approval Clearance and Tracking System (PACTS).
- Works with the COR to add new services and products and monitor usage of existing resources
- Master’s degree in Library Science preferably with specialized or government libraries concentration.
- Experience in science, medical, or technical libraries.
- Minimum of 10 years of library experience managing and directing librarians and professional library staff.
- Experience in project planning and project management and the ability to maintain priorities across multiple projects.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience supervising, training, scheduling and distributing work for non-exempt and exempt level positions required.
