Title: Marketing Specialist

Compensation: Up to $70K, non-exempt, hybrid schedule with 2 days in-office post-training

Reports to: Director of Marketing & Business Development


An international law firm based in downtown Los Angeles is hiring a Marketing Specialist with a minimum of 1 year of marketing or business development experience. This role is ideal for a creative professional who can work collaboratively to enhance brand presence through strategic marketing initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Marketing and Business Development teams to develop and deliver impactful marketing plans that strengthen the firm’s profile across various sectors.
  • Support the creation of proposals, client presentations, and pitch materials by drafting, organizing, and tailoring marketing content to engage potential clients.
  • Assist in organizing and executing events and virtual engagements hosted by the firm, such as webinars, conferences, and other client-facing programs.
  • Contribute to developing firm-wide content, including team member profiles, presentations, and submissions to industry directories and rankings like Chambers USA and Legal 500.
  • Conduct targeted research on companies, industries, and competitive trends to support marketing strategies and identify growth opportunities.
  • Manage client communications by coordinating the distribution of newsletters, alerts, invitations, and other materials.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update internal marketing systems, including tracking proposal outcomes, CRM entries, and managing information for database updates.
  • Coordinate submissions to industry directories and handle survey participation to enhance the firm’s visibility in relevant rankings.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the marketing team, maintaining files, tracking expenses, and updating data across systems.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience with creative content and digital marketing tools; experience in a law firm or professional services setting is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce, as well as marketing automation tools like Pardot.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to confidentiality.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work efficiently under deadlines, and adapt to evolving needs.
