About the Position

The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for supporting the marketing department in creating compelling visual content for marketing campaigns, managing administrative tasks to assist in driving EPD's brand, and developing internal marketing assets.

The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with a passion for marketing, excellent communication skills, and willingness to learn and grow in the AEC industry (architecture, engineering, and construction). This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our team to highlight the firm's projects and capabilities in innovative ways.

This position's salary range is between $74,300-$94,300. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus of up to 15% dependent on company and individual performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Creation & Visual Design:
    • Support the development of marketing collateral, including brochures, proposals, presentations, social media graphics, and website, ensuring alignment with the company's branding standards.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to create visuals for project pursuits, including proposal covers, resumes, layouts, infographics, and custom illustrations.
    • Assist in updating and maintaining the firm's website with fresh content and visuals.
    • Assist and coordinate print and advertising deliverables.
  2. Marketing Campaign Support:
    • Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and events.
    • Assist in the creation of email marketing campaigns, press releases, and other marketing communication materials.
  3. Administrative & Project Coordination:
    • Maintain and organize the marketing department's digital assets, ensuring easy access and version control.
    • Coordinate logistics for conferences, trade shows, webinars, and other events, including shipping materials, and setting up displays.
    • Assist with monthly email marketing.
    • Manage vendor relationships for marketing materials, including print production, promotional items, and event coordination.
    • Identify and coordinate relevant bid opportunities with departments as needed.
  4. Manage LinkedIn, Google Business, and 3rd party profiles.
  5. Stay up to date with industry trends, marketing best practices, and emerging technologies.
  6. Additional marketing responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with AEC or real estate terminology required.
  • Experience preparing marketing materials for proposals and presentations for public and private sector clients.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and SEO best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field with 2-4 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Creative thinker with strong brand management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign and Premier Rush or Pro, is required.
