Position Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator will play a crucial support role in the marketing department, assisting in various projects and campaigns to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing: Assist in the planning and execution of marketing and sales campaigns, including product launches, promotions, and events, ensuring all materials and timelines are in place.
- Integrated Marketing Communication: Coordinate various activities under the direction of senior marketing staff. This could include some basic copy writing.
- Graphic Design Support: Provide input and gather necessary information for the development of visually appealing marketing materials, and digital assets under the direction of senior marketing staff.
- Tradeshow & Events: Attend various tradeshows, video shoots, photo shoots, company promotions, events, and marketing meetings assisting senior marketing staff with a wide variety of clerical and logistical support.
- Collaboration Facilitation: Own the communication between the marketing team, other internal departments, and external partners ensuring everyone is informed and aligned.
- Administrative Tasks: Provide general administrative support to the marketing team with day-to-day tasks, including recording meeting minutes for interdepartmental marketing meetings and distributing electronically to staff attendees and designated staff, maintaining calendars, keeping track of project progress in ASANA, and organizing files.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing, within the sports nutrition or health and wellness industry a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for creating compelling content.
- Proficiency in project management platforms (i.e., ASANA), content management systems (i.e., Drop Box, Sharepoint, and Microsoft tools (e.g., Outlook, Teams, Power Point, Word).
- Passion for sports, fitness, and nutrition, with an understanding of the target audience's needs and interests.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
