This role involves utilizing your knowledge of basic marketing principles, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro), social media, photography/videography, copywriting, and WordPress to support our brand marketing efforts across three manufacturing brands. You'll help create and execute social media content, digital marketing, event marketing, and assist with the overall operation of the marketing department.
Essential Job Functions:
- Play a key role in social media content creation, calendar development, listening, and measurement.
- Conduct photography/videography, including product photos, and edit visuals as needed.
- Use Adobe Creative Cloud software to edit images and create graphics for digital and print collateral (website, blog, social media, catalog updates, etc.).
- Maintain organized image and graphic libraries for literature and marketing efforts.
- Develop sales support materials such as catalogs, data sheets, and sales documentation.
- Help manage logistics related to marketing literature, promotional items, and sample product distribution.
- Assist with preparation for tradeshows, presentations, and industry events.
- Maintain and update the websites and online presence for I&I Sling, Yale Cordage, and Slingmax.
- Collaborate with the Senior Marketing Manager to analyze KPIs and measure project success.
- Learn and engage in product manufacturing processes to create relevant marketing assets.
- Assist in optimizing marketing tools and assets.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills/Experience/Training Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years of experience in a marketing generalist role.
- Proficient in Adobe Suite and Microsoft 365 (specifically Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OneDrive).
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Knowledge of graphic design (portfolio of work examples preferred).
- Experience with WordPress and e-commerce websites is a plus.
- Previous experience with CRM systems is a plus.
- Travel: Occasional Travel may be required for onsite visits and training (less than 5%).
Work is performed in a normal office environment; you may also perform some aspects of your work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with exposure to moving equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, talk, hear and use fingers and hands for keyboarding and other tasks. Reasonable accommodations may be made.
