Job Summary:
Racer Media & Marketing is seeking a creative, resourceful, strategically-minded Marketing Manager to work directly with members of our sales team to develop innovative, cross-platform, results-driven marketing and lead generation plans, as well as inspiring proposals/presentations that motivate clients to invest. This hybrid role requires great listening and intuition, a strong understanding of marketing principles and solutions, project management, marketing tech tools and excellent written and graphic design skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proposal and Presentation Development:
- Collaborate with the sales team and other internal stakeholders to determine the array of marketing solutions needed to achieve client KPIs.
- Write and design sales proposals and presentations that convey proposed solutions in a highly compelling way that exceeds customer expectations.
- Gather information and assets required to respond to RFPs.
- Campaign Activation & Production Coordination:
- Develop activation briefs with sales team members to prepare for the successful hand-off of client assignments from to account management and production.
- Promotional Management:
- Write and design materials and promotions that inform and excite audiences targeted by the sales team of our suite of offerings and success stories.
- Implement the sales team’s marketing initiatives including managing the prospect and customer databases, developing messaging and campaigns, and managing physical and email campaigns, as well as other strategies that raise brand visibility and generate leads.
- Foster collaboration with sales, marketing and internal teams to identify and capitalize additional solutions and revenue opportunities for Racer.
- Reporting:
- Work with sales and sales operations to create campaign performance reports that convey results and offer insights and additional strategies that fortify the achievement of client KPIs and capitalize on new opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, media, graphic design, journalism, business, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 2-3 years in sales planning, media, promotions, or project management, within media or sports marketing
- Portfolio of presentations that will impress
- Strong knowledge of media math, inventory management, and multi-platform campaign coordination
- Exceptional interpersonal and internal client management skills with an advanced ability to communicate complex strategies simply and powerfully
- Proficiency in Adobe (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere), Canva and Powerpoint, Figma, CRMs and office software like Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Ability to multitask effectively, prioritize projects, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
