Summary

We are looking for a Marketing Specialist for our corporate office located in Ontario, CA. This position will be responsible for the company’s key categories (Automotive parts, Outdoor & Home, etc.) marketing initiatives, which entails the marketing strategy and executions from beginning to end. The Marketing Specialist reports directly to the SVP.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Brand Marketing Strategy Development: Participate in developing brand marketing strategies to establish strategic direction and program positioning. Develop marketing partnerships with retailers, media partners, and other external partners to broaden the reach of the business’s brand messaging.
  • Social Media Management: Manage social media accounts including Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Develop and execute paid social programs on self-service advertising platforms such as Google AdWords and Facebook Ads. Contribute to the development and execution of all ground events, promotions, and stunts for the business/brand.
  • Website Promotion and Graphic Design: Promote the company website through various online strategies. Create engaging graphic designs using tools like Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other AI tools.
  • Offline Marketing Materials Management: Oversee the production process for all offline marketing materials, including technical specifications and project timelines. Supervise external agencies in developing creative advertising, high-impact promotions, and media planning.
  • Media Timeline Management: Manage media timelines and execute plans across all media channels, ensuring that all branding and key information strategies align with overall business strategy without compromising the brand’s integrity.
  • Global Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members globally (US and China). Provide feedback and insights on the performance of program campaigns to upper management for further strategic development and solution formulation. Serve as a collaborative partner and liaison between all internal product departments to ensure integrated campaigns and cohesive strategies.
  • Campaign Performance Analysis: Conduct research and analyses, translating campaign performance into communication documents and reports, including marketing briefs, competitive analyses, and campaign recap decks.
  • Trend Research and Best Practices: Regularly conduct research to keep the business informed on best practices and the latest trends in brand marketing. Identify growth opportunities for the brand by capitalizing on alternative branding strategies.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure the product maintains a consistent tone relevant to the business’s brand and consumers. Solidify the brand identity by ensuring consistent, on-time, and accurate development, delivery, and running of assets for each brand marketing campaign.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as designated by the upper management team.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent work experience is also acceptable.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience executing advertising programs in a fast-paced, competitive environment across all media channels, including social, digital, tradeshow and print. Extensive experience with self-service platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, X (Twitter), Pinterest, Google AdWords, and Instagram. Proficiency in offline brand marketing approaches is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to accurately convey information, ensuring smooth execution of duties.
  • MS Office Proficiency: Highly proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for creating engaging branding materials, reports, and presentations.
  • Analytical/Creative Skills: Deep knowledge of analytic tools for analyzing brand marketing campaigns. Outstanding strategic, creative, and storytelling abilities for developing creative advertising materials in all forms of media.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize projects, perform effectively under pressure and tight deadlines, be self-motivated, proactive, and reactive, possess a positive can-do attitude, be team-oriented, and have excellent problem-solving skills. Demonstrate calmness and composure in uncertainty.
  • People Skills: Strong people skills to form meaningful relationships with external partners and collaborating personnel.
