Carolina K is seeking a Marketing Manager to join the Miami team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing all communication strategies, including web, paid advertising, email + SMS, as well as physical activations. The manager will be reporting directly to Creative Director, Carolina Kleinman.
Responsibilities:
- Generate ideas around communication initiatives to promote Carolina K and implement marketing strategy to grow brand awareness, drive traffic, and maintain consistent brand messaging.
- Develop and execute creative content that meets business and branding objectives across multiple channels including website, emails, SMS, ads, and social media.
- Build a content calendar and communicate dates and deliverables.
- Work on concept, schedule, and budget for all photoshoots with Design team to produce and style editorial shoots.
- Execute a clear view and understanding of the Carolina K target customer and adapt all aspects of the brand marketing program to reflect this.
- Liaise with PR agency on strategy, collaborations, press event activations, and VIP gifting initiatives.
- Manage brand events
- Manage the relationship with the digital marketing agency; form strategies, manage budgets, analyze performance weekly, and ideate and manage creative assets.
- Manage affiliate program with the agency.
- DTC Sales planning; forecasting sales, planning markdowns strategy, generating ideas to fill in sales gaps, and yearly sales and promotion strategies.
- Plan and manage yearly marketing calendar.
- Retail marketing strategy; stylist program, clienteling, promotions, and events.
- Create a launch plan for each collection.
- Buying seasonally + re-orders for online and in-store
- Website optimization + Web development; working with developers to update the website
- Reporting and data analysis; sales, best sellers, returns, creative, budgets
Qualifications:
- 5+ years strategic planning experience in a creative environment, fashion preferred
- Proven track record of successfully transforming brand strategy into creative strategy
- Knowledge of Shopify and Klaviyo
- Knowledge of industry, including current trends, news, key figures, and market
- Strong interest in culture; art, fashion, film, photography, music, etc.
- Understanding and/or interest in sustainability and environmental impact a plus
- Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
- Plus if based in Miami/ Possibility of hiring remote
