Marketing Specialist Job Description

 

Position Overview:
Magnolia Patio and Pool is looking for a creative and driven Marketing Specialist to join our team! In this role, you’ll manage digital marketing, content creation, and lead generation, playing a crucial part in growing our brand. The ideal candidate is outgoing, sales-oriented, and can build high-converting marketing campaigns to capture leads and nurture customer relationships.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Digital Marketing & Lead Generation:

  • Develop, implement, and manage digital marketing campaigns that drive high-quality leads and increase brand visibility.
  • Strategize and execute lead generation campaigns, optimizing for cost-effective acquisition.

​​​​​​​Graphic Design & Content Creation:

  • Design engaging graphics and content for social media, website, ads, and email campaigns.
  • Produce visual content, including videos, that resonates with our target audience.​​​​​​​

Social Media Management:

  • Oversee all social media channels by creating posts, engaging with followers, and monitoring social media trends.
  • Build a strong online community by showcasing our products, projects, and company values.

Videography:

  • Plan, shoot, and edit short-form videos for social media, highlighting products, customer stories, and company events.

Email Marketing:

  • Develop email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and drive engagement.
  • Write compelling copy, design templates, and track the performance of email campaigns.

CRM Management (HubSpot):

  • Use HubSpot CRM to build email marketing campaigns, manage leads, segment audiences, and support follow-up processes.
  • Track campaign performance and adjust strategies to maximize lead conversion rates.

Landing Page Creation:

  • Design, build, and optimize landing pages that capture leads effectively.
  • Test and refine landing pages to improve conversion rates.

Networking & Sales Support:

  • Represent the brand at networking events and industry gatherings.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to convert leads into clients through digital and in-person engagement.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven track record as a Marketing Specialist with 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, lead generation, social media, email marketing, or similar.
  • Proficiency in graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite or Canva) and experience building landing pages with tools such as HubSpot, WordPress, or similar.
  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite), CRM software (HubSpot), and email marketing platforms.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, PPC, lead generation, and campaign optimization.
  • Outgoing and upbeat personality, with a sales-driven mindset and goal-oriented approach to achieving lead targets.
  • An enthusiastic attitude and positive mindset with a focus on growing the company
  • A strong sense of urgency in completing tasks
  • A can-do, will-do attitude, willing to learn new skills and develop both personally and professionally
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook) and Google apps (Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Extreme attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative mind with ability to suggest improvements
