POSITION DESCRIPTION

 

The Marketing Manager role is based in the Scottsdale headquarters of Amplify Technology. Reporting to the Director of PR and Communications with direct connectivity to the Chief Growth Officer, the Marketing Manager has several key areas of responsibility across our ecosystem:

 

Digital Marketing

o Become a “super user” of the Zoho omnichannel marketing platform and other solutions

o Oversee and execute social media campaigns

o Create and manage email campaigns, including multi-path journeys

o Assist with oversight of digital advertising campaigns focused on strategic outcomes

o Coordinate all interface points for these functions, including graphic design and compliance review/approval

o Own marketing analytics across all channels/platforms

o Develop best practices and guidelines for digital marketing

 

Event Coordination

o Oversee and execute registration and site logistics for conferences at which Amplify is a participating sponsor/exhibitor

o Manage planning, coordination, and execution of Amplify hosted webinars and in-person events, including the annual conference

o Coordinate attendee registration for both categories of events

o Assist in developing best practice guidelines for both categories of events

 

Branded Merchandise Oversight

o Coordinate with leadership on product selection and vendor relationships for branded merchandise/giveaways

o Oversee ordering, quality control, and inventory management

o Interface with accounting/finance on billing and payment oversight

 

Website Administration

o Be or become highly proficient in WordPress

o Make regular updates to website content and collateral

o Coordinate with outside vendor on major site enhancements and updates

o Coordinate campaigns that integrate with Amplify site: sales funnels, landing pages, etc.

o Assist with administration of hosting environment

Sales Process Support

o Coordinate with Chief Growth Officer and Director of Business Development around sales funnel and lead generation campaigns

o Support push/pull of prospect contact details and sales cycle updates from sales CRM

 

Amplify is rapidly growing and offers an incredible opportunity for advancement. As a result, there is a high degree of responsibility connected to this role. Duties may vary from day to day, so the ability to be flexible and work enthusiastically on a variety of tasks is essential. Must be highly organized with attention to detail. Must be able to see projects through from start to finish while balancing multiple priorities at any given time.

 

Established knowledge of and experience with omnichannel marketing systems is crucial. General knowledge of WordPress, SEO, and marketing analytics are required. Knowledge of financial services, fintech, and/or wealth management strongly preferred.

 

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Some writing will be required for execution of social media campaigns.

 

Basic layout and design skills are strongly preferred, as this will streamline social media and email campaign execution.

 

This role will interact with and be responsible for tracking all marketing/communications projects in our project management system, Monday.

 

Minimum of five (5) years of related experience. Opportunity for advancement exists for the right candidate.

 

Must be able to pass a background check. Predictive Index Survey required.

 

KEY SKILLS

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field strongly preferred
  • Experienced user of omnichannel marketing platforms, such as Zoho or Hubspot, or a similar content management system (CMS)
  • Experience with WordPress required
  • Experience with Monday or a similar project management system strongly preferred
  • Experienced and capable Microsoft PowerPoint and Word user
  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop strongly preferred
  • Experience in technology and/or financial services a big plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously with flexibility on prioritization
  • Must be proficient in time management
  • Must have strong organizational skills
  • Attention to detail required
