Marketing Coordinator Overview

We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to participate in our Goodnight Stay's advertising campaigns. As Marketing Coordinator at Goodnight Stay, your primary responsibility will be to support the department’s marketing efforts ensuring that they are implemented effectively and on time. Your responsibilities will include conducting targeted market research, assisting and modifying social media development, researching and analyzing competitors, develop unique brand awareness strategies, and creating and making necessary edits/changes within the company website. The ideal candidate has exceptional communication skills, is organized, adaptable, and has a passion for developing effective advertising strategies. Your main responsibilities include conducting market research, producing promotional materials and analyzing sales data. Our ideal candidate is able to interpret customers’ behavior and suggest creative ways to increase brand awareness. Ultimately, you will ensure our company’s marketing efforts help us achieve our immediate and long-term business goals.


Responsibilities:

  • Create and update content for social media following while following social media trends for each of our various social media channels
  • Analyze social media data and performance
  • Update and review SEO keywords for website and media platforms
  • Maintain updates to website
  • Participate and strategize social media paid campaigns
  • Stay informed about best industry practices and emerging social media trends
  • Assist on email campaigns
  • Build and design promotional materials
  • Identify, research and report on competitors
  • Assist with coordination on photoshoots
  • Some additional duties to be discussed based on qualifications

Skills:

  • Proficient in web analytics tools (e.g Google Analytics) to track social media performance
  • Strong knowledge of SEO principles and best practices for content optimization
  • Experience in video editing software (Cap Cut, Adobe Premier Pro, Canva) to create engaging video content
  • Familiarity with social media engagement platforms for scheduling and monitoring posts - Sprout Social
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator or Canva, or other graphic design software to create visually appealing graphics
  • Ability to create compelling content that aligns with brand voice & resonates with the target audience
  • Knowledge of advertising principles and experience running paid social media campaigns
  • Excellent organization skills, strong communication skills, outstanding management skills
  • Proven work experience as a marketing coordinator, specialist, or similar
  • BS in marketing, communications, or relevant field experience
