The primary purpose of this position is to assist TBACU to live out its mission, "To serve our community and build trusted relationships." A key component of this service is to identify members' needs and provide appropriate TBACU product solutions which ultimately helps grow the credit union.
Promote credit union products and services, assisting Marketing Manager with all areas of communication, and promoting a positive image. Supports the Student-Run Credit Union (SRCU) program by assisting in the development, maintenance, and growth. Performs general office support functions as necessary. Serves as a liaison to the community within the credit union field of membership.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must satisfactorily perform each essential duty.
Coordinate events, community giving, and workshops/webinars.
Manage membership programs perks and benefits.
Coordinate, lead, and facilitate SRCU programs at assigned schools.
Develop and implement growth strategies for the SRCU Program.
Design, write, and proof collateral marketing pieces.
Create content for various marketing channels using appropriate disclaimers, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Develop and maintain SEG Programs.
Coordinate team volunteer opportunities.
Coordinate team member selection committees.
Coordinate scholarships and Classroom Improvement grant requests.
Coordinate branch supply requests.
Coordinate promo items, gift baskets, and new member gifts.
Coordinate financial education offerings through various channels.
Organize and present thank you letters received and media mentions.
Travel to and from schools and community events with reliable transportation.

Share responsibility for the public reputation of the credit union.
Assist with new product research and development, recommending modifications or improvements to existing products.
Help with tracking and metric reports as needed.
Assist with the online presence of the credit union.
Assist in development and growth strategies for membership growth.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPECTATIONS

Experience with Canva
Proficient in Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office Suite/ o365 Suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Well-developed reasoning and problem-solving skills, which result in good decisions.
Comfortable speaking in public and presenting ideas with influence.
Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/tasks and work independently with minimal direction.
Ability to be bonded.
Ability to clear credit and criminal history check.
Ability to clear security screening for area schools to be onsite with students.
Comply with the U.S Patriot Act and the Credit Union's Bank Secrecy and OFAC Policies and Procedures.
Comply with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and the Credit Union's Information Security program, maintaining the privacy and security of information, systems, and locations
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical demands outlined here represent those that an employee must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to sit or stand for 2-4 hours.
Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors.
WORK ENVIRONMENT Hybrid work environment available based on the needs of the department, after training and successfully meeting expectations for 3 months.
Travel to and from credit union branches and events. Must maintain a neat and orderly work area.
Protect the confidentiality of credit union employees and members by locking drawers and removing items from desk/workstation when away.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree with a concentration in marketing or communications, preferred.
One to two years related experience in marketing and/or communications, required.
Financial service experience, preferred.
