Marketing Coordinator will support the Marketing & Events Director in organization + preparing for & executing events that support brand identity on behalf of O’GARA & O’GARA’s manufacturer partners. This role will work closely with the Marketing & Events Director to ensure we are organized, providing high-value engagement, & sufficiently reporting on our efforts.

 

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Excellent computer skills with MS Office and Google Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Ability to keep abreast of content and consumer trends and advancements in technology
  • Strong organization skills to manage simultaneous projects and short deadlines
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and willingness to travel
  • Extremely self-motivated, organized, and a great multitasker
  • Detail-oriented & flexible

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   

             

  • Monitor & manage deadlines
  • Excel at taking creative direction, working collaboratively, & integrating feedback into your work
  • Available for site visits with direction from Marketing & Events Director + provide timely feedback
  • Take thorough notes during meetings & calls
  • Support Marketing & Events Director with all event coordination & reporting
  • Create timelines & checklists for events
  • Request quotes from vendors who meet brand standards
  • Follow up & hold vendors accountable
  • Evaluate vendor quotes to provide suggestions to Marketing & Events Director selections of the best vendors to support an event
  • Available to arrive at event venues ahead of all guests & vendors
  • Maintain a positive attitude
  • Maintain a problem-solving mindset & professionalism
  • Manage vendor invoicing process
  • Focus of priorities set by Marketing & Events Director
  • Update event schedule under the direction of Marketing & Events Director
  • Follow up on payments to vendors
  • Must be insurable by company insurance carrier
  • Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor

Compensation: $27.00 - $37.00/hr. (depending on experience)
