FUNCTION:

This position is responsible for helping to energize growth strategies to enhance brand visibility, which in turn generates an increase in donors, shoppers, job seeker utilization and financial support. This individual will play a lead role in analytics, understanding our donor base and identifying activities that drive engagement, support business objectives and provide unique opportunities to grow the Goodwill brand.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:
  1. Provide analytics and data to understand customer trends, demographics of donors and shoppers. Monitor and analyze content performance to optimize and improve future campaigns.
  2. Create high-quality and creative content for digital platforms including social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Pinterest, Twitter), and other pertinent platforms, website, digital signage, and email campaigns. Oversee and execute LinkedIn social media and e-marketing, optimizing the platform strategy based on analytics.
  3. Develop new public relation strategies, tactics and maintain relationships with media across mainstream outlets to enhance visibility and organizational reputation.
  4. Partner with all media-related vendors, signage vendors etc. to ensure brand continuity.
  5. Work with internal staff to ensure consistent communication and messaging strategies to promote brand engagement and community awareness.
  6. Draft content, talking points, scripts and press materials, including but not limited to statements, fact sheets, press releases, and testimonials.
  7. Manage outsourced marketing services on the necessary basis to develop creative assets for use across all platforms, including but not limited workforce development, human resources and philanthropy, maintaining brand guidelines.
  8. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to remain fresh and relevant.
  9. Manage organizational archives, photography assets and photo releases. Develop new opportunities to expand education and training services offered and populations served.
  10. Produce visual content, such as videos, graphics, and photos, to enhance storytelling and engage with our audience
  11. Develop internal signage, posters, and flyers as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • B.A./B.S. degree in marketing, public relations, journalism or communications preferred.
  • 3-5 years of public relations and marketing experience required.
  • Experience with WordPress, CRMs, & Office Suite required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Website design and maintenance abilities.
  • Expert level experience with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Pinterest and Twitter.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as exceptional organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to think critically, evaluate and make decisions without immediate supervision
