What it Looks Like:
· Work closely with firm leadership concerning all things marketing.
· Gather and analyze information to identify new markets and customers, demand for products and services, and efficacy of existing marketing campaigns and strategies.
· Conduct market research, sales forecasting, and strategic planning to assess and ensure the sale and profitability of services.
· Maintain knowledge of trends and developments in the market; identify needs for new potential new services and make recommendations to leadership.
· Analyze and evaluate financial aspects of marketing campaigns.
· Collaborate in the development, updating, and maintenance of our firm’s website and social media platforms with outside vendors.
· Compose, develop, evaluate, and conduct training on marketing activities, strategies, and policies.
· Collaborate, participate in, and coordinate promotional activities for the firm and its attorneys across all firm offices.
· Work closely with the firm’s intake manager regarding data and the intersection of marketing and sales/intake.
· Assist the firm’s COO with negotiating contracts for services needed to execute marketing strategy.
· Coordinate the creation of, and at times self-generate, graphic and video marketing materials.
· Perform other marketing duties as required.
What We’re Looking For:
· 3+ years marketing management experience, ideally in the legal or professional services industry.
· Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing or marketing management.
· Skills:
o Leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
o Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
o Strong organizational and time-management abilities, particularly in managing complex projects with deadlines.
o Proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and CRM software.
o Ability to develop, monitor, and optimize marketing budgets effectively.
o Thorough understanding of principles and methods used to create, promote, and sell products and services.
· Software/Systems
o Microsoft Office (including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel).
o Adobe Creative Cloud (including Photoshop, InDesign, Premier Pro, Acrobat Pro, etc.)
o Website/SEO Management (WordPress, Google Analytics, CRM tools)
· Motivated self-starter.
· Working primarily out of our Virginia Beach office with travel to our other two offices, events, and conferences.
Benefits:
· Salary: Base salary of $56,000 to $84,000, commensurate with knowledge and experience.
· Fully paid dental, vision, and health insurance, including a firm-paid HRA account with $3,000 annually.
· Fully paid short-term and long-term disability insurance as well as fully paid term-life insurance.
· 401K plan with 3% firm-contributed safe harbor available upon your start date.
· Paid time off at rate of 12 hours a month for the first through third year of employment, increasing thereafter.
· Unlimited unpaid time off with approval of firm leadership.
