Job Description
Position Overview:
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the creation and delivery of marketing projects. Main responsibilities include conducting market research, producing promotional materials and analyzing sales data. Must be able to interpret customers’ behavior and suggest creative ways to increase brand awareness. The position will support the company’s vision, strategic initiatives, business development activities and customer engagement strategies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Monitor and manage the company’s social media platforms, adjusting outreach tactics as needed.
· Design and implement successful marketing programs.
· Measure customer satisfaction with JNL products and services.
· Perform market analysis and research on JNL competitors.
· Prepare promotional presentations.
· Organize marketing events. Including local regional, national, and international trade shows.
· Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns.
· Plan and develop marketing material.
· Set up tracking system for online marketing activities.
· Prepare reports by collecting and analyzing sales data.
· Conduct research to analyze customer’s behavior (e.g., purchasing, habits, trends, and preferences).
· Create and manage videos and the JNL YouTube channel.
· Develop distributor marketing support materials.
· Monitor and ensure consistent, positive, and professional JNL image.
· Updating and maintaining JNL website and social media.
· Develop analytic tracking for JNL marketing programs.
· Creation of JNL marketing support materials.
· Develop training videos.
· Participate in new product development as needed.
· Develop, manage, and implement JNL market plan (annual).
· Create an annual marketing budget. Present marketing budget to JNL executive management for approval per JNL guidelines.
· Attend and actively participate in JNL sales meetings, as requested.
· Conduct JNL marketing meetings.
· Always maintain a professional appearance and image.
· Explore parallel markets for JNL products.
· Provide a high level of service to all JNL customers.
· Maintain JNL computer systems with accurate information.
· Communicate both verbally and in writing with customers and internal staff.
· Perform other reasonably related duties and tasks as assigned by a supervisor.

Reports to Director of Operations

Job Requirements:
Experience: This position requires experience working in a marketing role at a small to medium size business.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Knowledge in Marketing Communications, social media, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, Copywriting, Collaboration, Attention to Detail
Education: This position requires two years of education in an undergraduate program in marketing. Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred.
Technical: Must understand and be able to operate the following programs proficiently: MS Office, Mass Email Systems (MailChimp), Adobe Creative Suite, Social Media Management Tools (Hootsuite), WordP
Certifications and Licenses: This position does not require any certifications or licenses.
Physical: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
BODY POSITIONS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time. The individual must also have the ability to maneuver around the office.
BODY MOVEMENTS: The employee must have a full range of body movements including use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, computer equipment and peripherals; and bending, reaching, and crouching.
BODY SENSES: Must have command of these senses: sight, hearing, touch & smell (if applicable). Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. These vision requirements in each area must be sufficient to shift in focus from computer screens to close forms.
STRENGTH: Must have the ability to lift 50lbs occasionally.
Working Conditions: This position will be working primarily indoors in a climate-controlled, smoke-free environment. Outdoor work may be necessary as well as working at customer sites. Working hours for this position vary based on the demands of the business and customer requests and requirements. Regular office hours are generally 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM for an eight-hour shift, Monday to Friday. There may be the need to modify the work schedule based on the needs of JNL. Typical hours for this position are between 20 and 40 per week.
