The Integrated Marketing Manager is responsible for leading and developing the go-to-market strategy for new and existing products and acts as the liaison between product development, operations, sales and marketing, to effectively communicate the value proposition of credit union products and services to generate demand, deepen share of wallet, and attract new member consumers. This role serves as a product expert, has a good understanding of the competitive landscape, works closely with business units, and leads and influences cross-functional teams to support sales and revenue objectives through the management, development and execution of various marketing campaigns and tactics.

Specific duties include:

  • Oversee the development of the go-to-market strategy and campaigns in service to product champions, working cross functionally with members of the marketing team and business unit partners throughout the credit union to drive loan, deposit and business growth goals. A high level of product knowledge, brand, marketing disciplines and KPIs is demonstrated.
  • Lead, develop and execute integrated, multi-channel, inbound/outbound marketing strategies and campaigns in collaboration with brand, marketing, advertising and communications to drive product awareness and adoption for target audiences and long-term engagement through the product lifecycle.
  • Oversee and lead direct reports, providing guidance, professional development, workflow management, periodic team member reviews, and emphasis on responsibility, accountability and overall individual performance.
  • Lead collaboration as the marketing expert with product and vertical teams to deliver optimal results related to business unit and credit union growth goals, purpose and objectives. Tackle complex problems with a strategic mindset and create thoughtful recommendations and action plans for solving those problems.
  • Develop marketing strategy roadmaps for specific products and manage product campaign launch in alignment with communication plans, ensuring product information is compelling and easily digestible that resonates with target audiences. Maintain and report on marketing product portfolio campaigns.
  • Create compelling narratives and consistent product positioning through the use of data, consumer and competitive insights in close collaboration with cross functional partners, market research, finance and communications to grow product portfolios, revenue and meet business objectives and metrics for success.
  • Define and actively monitor campaign KPIs to measure the effectiveness of marketing strategies and tactics and adjust as needed to optimize results in acquisition, engagement, conversion and retention. Manage workflows, projects and track budget spending and progress toward goals.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of direct experience in product marketing, product management, integrated marketing or marketing financial service products and services.
  • Marketing leadership is required with experience in developing marketing professionals and working with cross-functional teams and strategic partners.
  • Must have in-depth knowledge and understanding of all marketing channels and experience in developing integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Deep understanding of marketing and strategy development in product and brand consumer marketing.
  • Experience with consumer facing product launches and consumer campaigns.
  • Experience in the financial industry preferred but not required.
