Job Overview:

The Sales & Marketing Director will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to drive revenue growth, expand brand presence, and increase market share. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of both strategic sales planning and dynamic marketing initiatives. Key Responsibilities


Sales Strategy Development:

  • Design and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to develop competitive sales positioning.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to set sales targets, budgets, and KPIs.
  • Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies to optimize effectiveness.
  • Lead the forecasting and pipeline management process to ensure sales targets are consistently met.


Marketing Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention.
  • Oversee the creation of marketing collateral, digital content, and messaging for various channels (e.g., social media, website, email campaigns, print materials).
  • Analyze marketing performance metrics (e.g., ROI, conversion rates) and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Coordinate with the product development team to ensure marketing messages align with product features and benefits.
  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including media, advertising agencies, and influencers.


Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of sales and marketing professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture focused on achieving business objectives.
  • Conduct regular team performance reviews and provide ongoing professional development and training.
  • Allocate resources efficiently to maximize productivity and team performance.


Customer Insights and Relationship Management:

  • Conduct market research and analyze customer feedback to understand customer needs and market trends.
  • Develop customer segmentation strategies to tailor marketing and sales efforts to specific audiences.
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to address customer concerns and enhance the overall customer experience.


Collaboration and Cross-functional Coordination:

  • Work closely with product development, finance, and operations teams to ensure alignment between sales, marketing, and product offerings.
  • Coordinate with the HR department to attract, hire, and retain top talent for the sales and marketing departments.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all platforms and customer touchpoints.


Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
  • Monitor and report on marketing spend and sales performance against the allocated budget.
  • Optimize resource allocation for maximum return on investment.


Reporting and Analysis:

  • Provide regular performance reports to senior leadership on key metrics, including sales growth, marketing ROI, lead generation, and market penetration.
  • Use data and analytics to continuously improve sales and marketing tactics.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and emerging technologies that can impact sales and marketing performance.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.


Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing leadership roles, with a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and brand development.
  • Extensive experience in digital marketing, demand generation, and sales pipeline management.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and working with senior leadership.
