Role:

The role of Marketing Specialist will report to the Vice President of Marketing. The marketing team's main priority being to lead the overall marketing efforts of the credit union. This includes development of print, online (social, email, paid search etc.), newsletters, and press releases. Will be expected to attend local community events and visit branch locations on a regular basis. In this role you will help to ensure consistent use of the credit union brand. Assist with the formulation and implementation of the credit union's strategic plan and in turn build out and follow an effective marketing calendar.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Enhance member education and increase non-member awareness of credit union products/ services by promoting effective communication.

Manage the marketing communications (which includes social media and email) and public relations functions.

Plan, develop, and execute digital campaigns, including online advertising, digital advertising, SEM/SEO based trends, social media. Research, metrics and best practices.

Undertake daily administrative tasks such as deploying email, social media posting etc.

Responsible for social media design and engagement. Online reputation monitoring and respond to online reviews in a timely manner.

In Branch TV advertising and on hold branch messaging.

Maintain marketing compliance records and stay up to date on marketing compliance. Assist in the editing and production of credit union materials such as manuals, policies and procedures.

Create website assets and work with internal team to have content posted to website, this will include product information, articles, banners, service offerings and events.

Creation, ordering and distribution of marketing promotional items, giveaways, branch supplies like, flyers, business cards etc.

Responsible for public relations efforts by writing promotional letters, press releases, fact sheets and articles for publications; Ensures established brand and image standards are consistent across all media.

Create and track internal marketing data on monthly dashboard. Utilize marketing reports to maintain and track product usage, website statistics, and membership statistics.

Review and make decision/recommendation regarding sponsorship and donation requests to support the Community Reinvestment Act.

Performs other related duties, or projects, as assigned.

This is a hybrid position and requires one to two days per week on-site.
