Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 13 - 16 years of experience in the IT industry, with a strong background in Java and J2EE technologies and Content and Digital Asset management. This role requires expertise in designing, developing, and deploying architectures and infrastructure for software applications, with a proven ability to lead project teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and implementation of application modernization projects, including the migration of legacy systems to modern platforms. Develop and maintain architectural blueprints and roadmaps for application modernization
• Leverage Digital Asset Management (DAM) tools such as OpenText Media Management (OTMM) and Bynder to optimize rich media asset management, use, and distribution across the digital ecosystem.
• Design and develop applications using core Java, J2EE technologies, Digital Asset Management Service, Web Services (SOAP/REST), AWS Cloud, and Dockers and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, object-oriented programming, and microservice architecture principles. Implement and manage Microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Security, Rest API, and other related technologies.
• Utilize AWS services such as Amazon EKS, Amazon ECS, Beanstalk and AWS Lambda to modernize applications and improve operational efficiency.
• Experience in implementing and building solution using NLP and AI models.
• Experience in UI technologies lile Angular, React .
• Use Amazon API Gateway to create, publish, maintain, monitor, and secure APIs at any scale, handling tasks such as traffic management, authorization, access control, monitoring, and API version management.
• Extensive experience in Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and related technologies. Experience with API development and testing tools like Swagger, Postman, and Soap UI.
• Strong experience in performance tuning, application monitoring, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Splunk, Datadog and Sumo logic
• Familiarity with version control systems like SVN, GIT, GitHub, and Bitbucket.
• Experience with message brokering tools like JMS, RabbitMQ, Solace, and Kafka.
• Expertise in deploying and configuring applications on application servers like WebSphere, WebLogic, and Apache Tomcat.
• Utilize CI/CD principles and tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, Docker and Kubernetes for deployment and orchestration.
• Perform performance tuning and design of multi-tier Java2EE architectures.
• Manage databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL and MongoDB.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards through code reviews and the use of tools like SonarQube.
• Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
• Lead all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including planning, architecture, use case analysis, object-oriented design, development, debugging, unit testing, integration, and monitoring.
