The Media Team is seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual with a strong passion for audio/visual expertise to support our Media Ministry. Under the guidance of the Associate Director of Media, the Media Specialist III will play a vital role in enhancing the worship experience through the management of audio, video, and lighting systems. This position involves collaborating with ministry teams to create engaging presentations for services, events, and community outreach, ensuring the seamless operation of all A/V equipment and maintaining high production standards.

Position Details:

- Year-round, full-time, exempt

- Average 40-45 hours per week (may exceed during peak season, January-April)

- $55,000 salary

- Non-profit organization in Bonita Springs

- Basic understanding of network connectivity and practices

- Basic understanding of computer hardware

- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

- Effective time management and organizational abilities

- Outstanding listening skills with an empathetic approach to ministry service

- Initiative in resolving problems

- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

- Set up, operate, and dismantle audio, video, and lighting equipment during events, studio productions, and worship services with minimal supervision

- Conduct thorough quality checks of all setups in a timely manner

- Provide troubleshooting support during crisis situations

- Perform routine preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment

- Participate in all worship services and major events as required

- Coordinate and execute various projects throughout the year

- Meet with ministry teams and event planners on-site to ensure equipment needs are met

- Offer user support and troubleshoot audio-visual equipment across the campus

- Address general network connectivity issues and manage device integration

- Maintain positive relationships with ministries and event planners through effective communication

- Keep accurate inventory of equipment

- Assist with video production tasks, including editing video and audio for final projects

- Help set up and dismantle cameras, lighting, and production elements

- Be present during video productions for camera, audio, and prompter operations

- Perform other duties as specified by the Associate Director of Media
