They are seeking a dynamic Senior Manager of Social Media to join their team and help them to continue to grow social initiatives that are highly responsive, innovative, and customer-focused. This role is based out of their Culver City, CA office and has a “hybrid” model, of work both in office, as well as from home / remotely. Senior Manager of Social Media The Senior Manager of Social Media will act as the primary lead, budget overseer, and strategist across multiple platforms. This role will guide the process from ideation to implementation in collaboration with agency partners, aligning all social media strategies with key brand initiatives such as community building, engagement, brand awareness, and advocacy. Principal Responsibilities: Develop, manage, and execute a monthly content calendar for Instagram and TikTok, including necessary retailer and promotional support. Ensure content is tailored for each platform to optimize engagement and visibility. Oversee social and community engagement efforts with the agency, track daily projects, lead weekly meetings, and provide prompt guidance and feedback on all agency deliverables. Manage social shot lists, planning for social shoots, and sourcing user-generated content in collaboration with the Specialist. Utilize analytic tools and internal resources to deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on key performance indicators for each platform and campaign, measuring success. Conduct brainstorming sessions with cross-functional teams and the agency to share insights and develop innovative social content and programs. Continuously research and analyze the social media landscape, offering insights on trends, new platforms, and campaign strategies, including competitive brand activities outside the beauty sector. Identify significant PR, media, and partnership opportunities in collaboration with the Marketing Director and execute approved initiatives. Supervise the development of the Influencer Marketing Specialist to achieve results and implement the social media vision. Engage in content creation and editing as needed. Fiscal Responsibilities: Manage the budget allocated for social media shoots and content management tools. Key Internal Relationships: Brand, Copy, Education, Sales Agency Relationships: Social, community management, creative Required Skills & Experience: Over 4 years of experience in social media marketing. Passion for social media, content creation, and storytelling with a background in leading the creation and execution of social media content. Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask, give clear feedback, and make timely decisions. Comfortable with creating and appearing in content on short notice. Highly organized, data-driven, and detail-oriented with excellent written and presentation skills. Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a keen interest in beauty and social trends. Experience utilizing Dash Hudson Proficiency in Microsoft Office and various social media publishing platforms, as well as content editing tools like CapCut, Canva, slip.stream, etc. Ability to collaborate across multiple departments. Willingness to go "above and beyond" to assist teammates. Travel Requirements: Travel for events (photoshoots, store openings, influencer activations) as needed.
