Summary
This role is essential for managing marketing efforts within specific industry verticals, Automotive, MRO, Shipbuilding, Military, Navy, Aviation, among others. As a Vertical Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, executing, and overseeing comprehensive marketing and communication strategies tailored to your assigned industry vertical(s).
Key Responsibilities:
- Industry-Specific Marketing Planning: Develop and manage all marketing and communication plans for your designated vertical(s). This includes a holistic approach, covering areas such as website updates, keyword and SEO strategies, targeted audience segmentation, and specific messaging strategies.
- Campaign Execution: Design and execute various marketing initiatives, including email marketing campaigns, nurturing campaigns, display advertising, video production, and content creation. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that campaigns are delivered on time and to the highest standards.
- Social Media Strategy and Calendar: Define and execute a social media strategy specific to your vertical(s), including messaging, posting schedules, and engagement tactics. This includes working across platforms to reach and influence key industry audiences.
- Tradeshow Planning and Execution: Plan for industry events and tradeshows, managing all aspects from booth setup to lead capture, and work closely with sales to drive meaningful connections and ROI from event participation.
- Data-Driven Performance Tracking and Analysis: Track and report on the results of each campaign and communication strategy. Identify causes of both positive and negative outcomes and use insights to develop actionable plans that enhance campaign performance.
- Content and Collateral Development: Oversee the creation of content and marketing collateral (e.g., flyers, brochures, email newsletters, videos, etc.) that resonate with target audiences within each vertical. Ensure these materials are aligned with the unique needs and opportunities of each market segment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Present clear, detailed briefs to creative, design, email, video, 3D graphics, sales, engineering, and content teams. Ensure all stakeholders have a thorough understanding of campaign goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Strategic Optimization: Continuously optimize and refine your marketing approach based on feedback, industry trends, and performance metrics. Develop corrective action plans to address any negative results and ensure the ongoing success of marketing efforts.
