Salary/Hourly Rate:
$27 - $37 per hour

We seek a Social Media Strategist to develop and implement engaging content and strategies across social platforms. This role involves analyzing performance metrics to optimize results and staying current with social media trends. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This is a temporary 7-month assignment.
Responsibilities of the Social Media Strategist:
- Create and curate engaging content tailored to various social media platforms, ensuring alignment with brand voice and messaging
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion goals
- Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics, adjusting strategies based on data-driven insights to optimize results
- Foster relationships with online communities by engaging with followers, responding to inquiries, and managing conversations across platforms
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices, incorporating innovative techniques to enhance brand presence
Qualifications of the Social Media Strategist:
- High school diploma or GED required
- A minimum of 5-7 years of applicable experience, particularly with global tech companies (not looking for personal social media experience)
- Holistic understanding of social platforms and placements to recommend strategic guidance to drive results on KPI’s outlinied by the EG social strategy, including paid boosting
- Experience with systems such as Slack, SharePoint, Sprinkers, Canva, and other analytic and social media tools
- Ability to analyze social media performance metrics to make informed decisions
- Experience working globally
- In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms and best practices, including paid boosting advertising strategies, and campaign and community management
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects, while also collaborating effectively with teams across different regions
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and reporting tools, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute complex plans
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
