Ladgov Corporation is hiring: Gospel Music Director in Biloxi

Location: Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi
Position: Part-time

Duties:

• Direct and coordinate the music for Gospel worship services, including weekly rehearsals and Sunday services.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive program of music for the Gospel Service, selecting anthems, hymns, and other worship music.
• Recruit, train, and lead volunteers, including musicians and vocalists, for the music program.
• Lead the choir and worship band, ensuring effective music leadership for tempos, dynamics, and style during services and rehearsals.
• Schedule and lead devotional and prayer sessions with choir and worship band members before rehearsals and services.

Requirements:

• Minimum of two years’ experience directing gospel worship services in a Protestant church or chapel.
• Active membership and attendance at a Protestant church with a letter of endorsement from the current pastor or chaplain.
• Ability to read and direct four-part choral music and lead congregational hymns.
• Organizational skills to select appropriate music and coordinate services.
• Familiarity with or ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and ProPresenter.
