Description
This role will join the Product PR team helping create and implement PR initiatives for Apple's Mac business with an emphasis on social-first campaigns. We are looking for candidates that possess strong PR/communications skills, along with a consistent track record driving PR results across consumer technology and/or consumer lifestyle. Ideal profiles are passionate about cultivating new relationships with media and creators, and skilled at developing unique narratives and storylines that resonate with online audiences.
Minimum Qualifications
A minimum of 7 years experience in public relations, social media marketing, journalism, PR agency or corporate settings
Key Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience leading successful PR programs, including social-first campaigns
Established list of media contacts and influencer relationships across consumer technology, consumer lifestyle, and students
Motivated self-starter with a positive team-player attitude and a passion for social media, creative storytelling, and relationship building
Ability to develop and bring to fruition PR plans that are both strategic and creative
Ability to handle multiple projects and thrive in a dynamic environment
Excellent attention to detail and project management skills
Excellent writing skills with the ability to craft compelling pitches, product messaging, and more
Proven experience working on large-scale, international, time-critical projects

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,900 and $216,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
