WHAT YOU’LL DO
As the Senior Manager, Publishing, you will:
- Participate in issue planning, write stories, and proof content for Pharmacy Today
- Review APhA content for accuracy
- Participate in development of new technology for content delivery
- Serves as a representative of APhA member needs in all areas of publishing.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
APhA may be the right fit for you have:
Experience and Education required:
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school or college of pharmacy. Post-graduate training is preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant experience or 1+ year of a Residency/Fellowship and 2+ years of relevant experience in an association or nonprofit.
Skills, knowledge and abilities required:
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and compliance standards.
- Proven experience in pharmacology and content creation for pharmacists.
- Ability to work independently, handle multiple projects in a timely fashion, adhere to deadlines, and plan projects effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with data analytics and performance tracking tools.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
- Ability to travel to annual meeting.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, and InCopy.
- Proficiency in AI-powered publishing tools and digital content management systems preferred.
LOCATION: Washington, DC – Hybrid, two days a week in the office (Tuesday & Thursday)
