Page Six is seeking a Commerce Writer/Reporter who will create interesting, commerce-first, revenue-generating stories for Page Six - and on occasion, the New York Post - with a heavy focus on celebrity fashion and beauty. This role requires someone who can write multiple articles per day as part of a fast-paced digital news desk, helping create content that allows Page Six readers to make the best shopping decisions.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Pitch, write, report, research and update daily celebrity fashion, beauty, and entertainment-focused commerce articles that are smart, serviceable, witty, and meet our editorial standards.
  • Use data, analytics, and expertise to brainstorm and guide content decisions.
  • Collaborate with other commerce and digital writers and editors, plus various members of the larger affiliate team.
  • Keep up-to-date with what's going on in the fashion, beauty, and entertainment industries, including competitor research, and suggest new content areas to lean into and existing areas to grow.
  • Monitor Page Six content wins and revenue - this includes major fashion and entertainment occasions and tentpole shopping events, such as Prime Day, Black Friday, etc.
Candidates must have:
  • At least 2+ years of fashion, beauty, and entertainment reporting experience with proficient writing skills
  • An obsession with celebrity style and beauty
  • Expertise in the commerce editorial landscape
  • A robust network of industry contacts
  • A deep understanding of SEO and social media best practices
  • Working familiarity with data analytics
  • Able to write truly attention-grabbing headlines that drive high engagement
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, digital organization
  • Highly organized, adaptable and able to pivot quickly to react to trends, news cycles, and a constantly changing work environment
  • Thorough and detail-oriented
  • Self-motivated, yet enjoy working collaboratively

Pay Range: $60,000 - $70,000
